Find

This command lets you search for text in a document. You can enter one or more words in the search field, and AceHTML will identify the location of the first such string of similar characters in the document.

In the Edit menu, click on Find.

In the Edit toolbar, click on Find.
You can also use a shortcut, by pressing CTRL + F (See the List of Shortcut Keys).
Enter the text you are looking for in the zone Text to find and click on Find.

The "Search for" dialog box has the following options:

Text to find	Enter the character string you are looking for here. The dropdown list indicates the last searches you did.
Find	Click on this button to find the first occurrence of the character string indicated in the field Text to find.
Replace	This button toggles to the Replace function, which lets you replace, one at time, the text found in the document by a specified character string.
From cursor	This option lets you begin the search from the cursor position, and continue to the end of the document. The section of the document prior to the cursor position will only be searched at the end.
From the beginning	This option lets you begin the search at the very start of the document, and search to the end.
Direction - Forward and Backward	This option lets you begin the search at the cursor position, and to move either forward or backward.
Whole word only	This option limits the search to a specified character string or sequence. For example, if you are searching for the word note in a document, the word notation will not be displayed, given that they are not identical.
Case sensitive	This option lets you include uppercase or lowercase letters in the specified character strings. For example, if you are searching for the word note in a document, the word Note will not be displayed.
Scope	This option lets you limit the scope of the search: Global, to search the entire document. Selected text, to limit the search to the text previously selected.
Directory to search tab	This tab lets you search all the files open in the Editor, or only current project files. Type of search: Indicate the type of files you wish to search. You can only search in files that are open. If necessary, indicate case and whole word options when searching in several files.
